New Venue

We are now booked in at the Sir Matt Busby Sports Complex in Bellshill from the 28th onwards. The session time as a result is changing to 8:15 - 10:30 PM.

It's dead easy to find.

Get to the M74 junction 5 and head north towards Bellhilll on the A725.
Once on the dual carriageway take the second exit, signposted for Bellshill and the A721.
On the roundabout of the exit take the 4th exit onto the A721.
Turn right at the next roundabout (3rd exit)
Turn immediately left at the mini roundabout.
Follow the road to the left and then the right and the Complex is on your right, straight after the church. (The car park entrance is between the two)

DO NOT use google maps directions feature because the bit of road between the last two roundabouts isn't on there and it'll take you the long way round. However, my satnav gives me the above route so I guess most will do the same.

Please Note: This means there will be no Kendo this coming Wednesday.

Hall Wars: The Phantom Menace

Ok guys,

We've been let back into whitehill for a week at the old rate while the council are making decisions. So this week we are at whitehill, NOT Blantyre.

I keep you all posted as to next week.

Venue Saga

So, saga over a venue continues.

Here is the current situation.

For the coming Wednesday we are booked into blantyre sports centre (45 John St, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire G72 0, UK). However this can only be a tempory measure as the floor turns out to be entirely unsuitable.

I have found a suitable alternate venue at Wishaw sports centre (I know it's a way away) but this will take a while to arrange.

I'm also investigating a couple of halls in Motherwell.

Also, there is a possible ray of light from another direction that would sort us out for this week! I SHOULD know one way or another by Monday PM and will update you all if things work out in our favour.

Please bear with me on these points I'm trying my best to get things sorted for us all. For now, assume we are at Blantyre this week unless I say otherwise. If you put "blantrye sports centre" into google maps it'll show you where the centre is (opposite the ASDA).
